The Gredenius’ are officially inviting you to the beach!

Come and join us just north of Jenness Beach across from Common Roots Cafe (2203 Ocean Blvd. Rye, NH 03870) for a day of sun, sand, games, relaxing, and surf (if there are waves).

We will arrive at the beach around 8:00am and spend the whole day there. I will have several surfboards and boogie boards to try out and you are welcome to meet us there any time during the day.

Be prepared, parking will be difficult after 10:00am.

Getting There

It takes about 1.15 hours to get to Rye, New Hampshire from Arlington, MA.

There is a small beach access path right across the street from the Common Roots Cafe. We will be on the beach at the end of that path.
Tip: Drop off people and gear at the store first, and then go find parking.

We like to park at Summer Sessions Surf Shop (2281 Ocean Boulevard Rye, NH), located by Jenness Beach, a quarter-mile south of where we’ll be. They charge $20 (CASH) for all-day parking. Their website also has a really cool webcam pointed at the beach. Check it out!

Jenness Beach has metered parking if you get lucky. There is also free parking on Route 1A, the road that follows the shoreline. If you park near Jenness you will need to walk north on the beach or the road for several hundred yards to get to where we will be.

Once you get to the beach, look to the North (to the left if you are facing the water) and look for a blue Highrock feather flag

Bring your own lunch or buy it at Common Roots, Summer Sessions Cafe, or the Sandpiper Pizzeria. (Side note - Common Roots, right across the street, has the best bathrooms on the beach but you have to buy something.) There are brand new bathrooms at the public beach as well.

Let Us Know You’re Coming!

Email or text me (Pastor Chris) at 617-775-6516 if you are planning on coming so we can keep an eye out for you!

Note: Once we are at the beach the reception is terrible.

Hope to see you there!
