Let's learn together from the book of Acts!
Middle School Youth Group is what we call our middle school faith community. All students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade are invited to this community where we look to create a safe, fun environment where middle schoolers can be curious and ask questions, explore who God created them to be (identity), form relationships with their peers (belonging), navigate life’s challenges and learn about the church and their role in (purpose) it together. Our goal is for students to discover they are known and loved by God and known and loved by God’s people.
The middle school years are full of excitement and change as students transition to adolescence, so our ministry partners with parents in navigating the twists and turns of teen development by forming supportive relationships among parents and our leaders. We also provide resources throughout the year that we hope can be helpful to you as you disciple your middle schooler throughout this phase.
We meet regularly on Friday nights, with 35-50 students gathering together to hang out, play games and enjoy some snacks. We close out the night with a brief message, worship or spiritual practice, and Small Groups that are organized by grade and are split by boys and girls. Each Small Group is led by a team of adults and older teens who are trained, love Jesus, and love middle schoolers. Our Small Group leaders are seriously the best!
Come check us out on Fridays beginning on September 24th during the academic year from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Highrock Lexington, located at 7 Clematis Rd in Lexington, MA. We will be outdoors until the weather moves us inside!
