If there is one word that defines the young adult life stage, it’s “transition.” We transition out of college into professional or graduate school life. We transition from being a dependent to being dependable. We transition from following to leading. Some transition from singleness to marriage. Managing all these transitions can be confusing, frustrating, and sometimes overwhelming.
The Young Adult Community at Highrock helps young adults connect to one another through weekly fellowship, both as a large group and in small groups. In community, we find strength. We aim to see lives transformed through the study of Scripture, intentionally inclusive community, and sharing our gifts as the body of Christ.
We meet at the Mill Sanctuary (14 Mill St, Arlington) for monthly large group gatherings that include teaching and fellowship. With the exception of April, when we have our Spring Retreat (April 5-7), large group gatherings will be on the second Friday of the month from 7:30-9:30pm. We also meet in small groups at the Mill and in various other homes in Arlington in the evening throughout the week.
