Jog for Joy with Highrock MetroWest on December 8th, and help make more mental health resources available to teens in the Boston MetroWest area
MomsRock provides a space for connection and growth for moms at any stage of life. We seek to foster community and to develop as followers of Christ while studying aspects of parenting, marriage, and faith.
This academic year (2019-2020) we will be diving into topics related to parenting and following Christ in our many roles. MomsRock is a chance to build supportive relationships and receive encouragement as you walk the journey of intentional parenting. In addition to weekly teaching and small groups, we will welcome guest speakers on topics relating to living out our faith as women of God, parenting, time management, boundaries, and purpose.
This fall we will be led by Karen Stubbs: author, teacher, and founder of Birds on a Wire. In the winter we will join Lysa Terkeurst (author, speaker and president of the Proverbs 31 ministry) in her study of what happens when life is not the way we expected. What do we do with our disappointments? Where is God in that?. The full list of speakers and weekly events can be found on the 2019-2020 MomsRock Calendar.
After large group teaching, we break into small groups for discussion. We offer several focused small groups for those who are interested, including Mandarin- and Japanese-speaking groups.
We hope you will join us as we journey together as children of God and parents to His children! Please use the link below to register and sign up for childcare. Feel free to forward or invite any mom you know who may be looking for connection or encouragement as we walk this journey of parenting as followers of Christ.
