The Restored and Free ministry, formerly known as For Men Only (FMO), is composed of men’s groups dedicated to working and supporting each other to recover from sexual and relational brokenness. We believe that at the heart of these problems lies a deep-seated yet unfilled desire to know and be known by God and others. By renewing our confidence in genuine, grace-filled and truthful relationships, we can overcome the pain, guilt, and shame that have weighed us down, and restore trust in a God that grants freedom out of bondage.
Our groups meet weekly to equip members with the knowledge and tools to understand their behavior. Between meetings, we use a standardized form known as the FASTER Scale to take stock of our emotions, and we commit to reaching out to other group members on a regular basis. These practices emphasize both internal self-awareness and external accountability, providing a structure for God’s grace to work toward healing.
