On Thursday, August 16, 7:00-9:00pm, Christians from all over Boston will be gathering to worship on Boston Common - and you're invited!
The High School Youth Group is for students in 9th-12th grades.
Our goal is to create environments that encourage students to grow in their faith in Christ, connect with others, make wise decisions that positively influence their relationships, and experience personal growth through serving.
We meet on Sundays during the school year from 5:00pm-7:15pm in the Highrock Commons (main church building basement).
Fall Season: September 17th - December 3rd, 2017
Winter Season: January 14th - May 6th, 2018
This summer we took a break from our usual summer mission trips to attend the National High School CHIC conference from July 15th-20th, 2018. This one-week conference allowed students to get away with God, refresh, and be encouraged.
This February we will begin a 13-week class called Finding Ourselves in His Story that highlights the major themes of church history, theology, and spiritual formation in preparation for confirmation or baptism. While this class is designed for 9th graders, other high schoolers are welcome to attend! This class begins February 18th, 2018, and meets from 10:45am-12:00pm in the AutoParts Classroom (next to The Mill on 14 Mill St). The class concludes with a confirmation/baptism service in May.
For high school students in 10th - 12th grade, we offer a four-week class called The Partnership that starts each October. This class walks students through the membership process at Highrock and begins them on the journey of partnering fully as adults at Highrock.
In addition to these classes, many of our teens serve during Sunday worship in various areas of the church like our children’s, worship, welcoming, and hospitality ministries.
